Brian "Head" Welch: From Addiction to Jesus
Brian “Head” Welch was living a life that many people could only dream of. As the guitarist for the famous rock band Korn, he had money, fame, and success. But behind the scenes, Brian was fighting a battle with methamphetamine addiction.
Even with everything he had accomplished, something was missing. His addiction was taking over his life, and he knew he needed to make a change. He also had a young daughter who needed her father.
In 2005, Brian turned his life over to Jesus Christ. He made the difficult decision to walk away from Korn so he could focus on his faith, getting clean, and being a better father.
His journey wasn’t always easy. Becoming a Christian didn’t mean all his struggles disappeared overnight. But as he continued growing in his relationship with Jesus, his life began moving in a different direction.
Years later, Brian returned to Korn. This time, he brought his faith with him. He continued sharing his testimony and telling people how Jesus had changed his life.
Brian’s story reminds us that money and fame can’t give us the peace that only Jesus can provide. No matter how far someone has fallen or what they’ve done in their past, God can give them a new beginning. It’s never too late to turn your life around and follow Jesus.
